Fantasea Great Barrier Reef Cruise

Operates: Daily – 8.45am-4.30pm

This is a full day trip by catamaran to the Reefworld Pontoon on the Great Barrier Reef.

Inclusions: Morning and afternoon tea, BBQ buffet lunch, snorkelling equipment, semi submersible, underwater viewing chamber and BRAND NEW Waterslide! There is even a licensed bar on board, as well as change rooms.

Scuba diving with Fantasea cruises cannot be booked or confirmed until the guests board the boat on the day of the cruise. Spaces are limited and during the peak season second dives cannot be guaranteed.

Resort divers are to fill out a medical questionnaire to ensure general fitness. All resort divers over 55 years of age will require a medical certificate stating they are fit to dive; this must be completed before they leave for the cruise. Minimum age for scuba is 12 years.

There is also the optional extra of a ten minute scenic by helicopter over Heart Reef. This can be arranged on the boat ride out to the reef dependent on availability for the day. A guided snorkel tour with a marine biologist can also be arranged on board for an additional cost.

Fantasea Whitehaven Beach

Operates: Daily - 12.00pm-4.30pm

If you would like a perfect half day trip to Whitehaven Beach that will suit everyone? Come one, come all, aboard the Fantasea catamaran to one of the top 10 beaches in the world! Enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet lunch and afternoon tea. Swim in the crystal clear waters, take a leisurely walk along the pristine beach, join in the beach games or just relax and soak up the sunshine – the choice is yours!

Whitesunday Air ReefWorldFly/Cruise or Cruise/Fly-Helicopter

Operates: Daily, Cruise/Fly 8.45am or Fly/Cruise 11.00am

Adult $399 / Child $349

Experience the Great Barrier Reef from above and below with this unique fly and cruise option to Fantasea Reefworld. Enjoy a one way helicopter flight with scenic views of Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet and Heart Reef, before spending 2.5hrs hours at the Reefworld pontoon where your snorkelling gear and all Reefworld facilities can be accessed, such as the glass bottom semi-submersible submarine or underwater viewing chamber. A delicious BBQ buffet lunch is also provided. A one way cruise aboard the Fantasea catamaran will complete this perfect day.

Hamilton Island Wildlife Park

Operates: Daily - 9.30am-5.00pm

Adult $20 / Child $10(5-17yrs) / Child 4 & under FREE

Experience the natural wildlife of Australia. See everything from snakes, to koalas to our own resident crocodile, all within the walls of the Koala Gallery. You can take a guided tour, which run at 10am and 3.30pm every day, or otherwise wander through at your own leisure. Your entry into the park is valid for your entire holiday so you can come back and visit as often as you like. There is also an opportunity to have your photograph taken with koalas, 8.30am, 10.30am & 3pm daily.

Island Shuttle

Operates: Green - Daily 7.00am-11.00pm, Orange - Daily 7.00am-11.00pm

FREE to All

The green shuttle operates between the main resort centre and the marina every 15 minutes. The orange shuttles run around Hamilton Island every 40 minutes. This is a free service for all guests.
